MBF offers health insurance to all active/full time employees. The plan is a $2000 deductible policy with a nationwide network. Insurance is effective on the 1st of the month following hire date. MBF pays a major portion of the cost for employee coverage. Dependent coverage is available at an additional cost.
MBF offers two dental insurance plans to all active/full time employees. We offer a low plan (basic coverage) and a high plan (enhanced coverage). Insurance is effective on the 1st of the month following hire date. At this time, MBF pays ¼ of the cost for employee coverage. Spousal and dependant coverage is available at the employee’s expense.
Supplemental Life Insurance is offered at a group rate for all active/full time employees and their family members. Coverage can be purchased in the amounts of $10,000 to $500,000 at the employee’s expense. Any coverage in excess of $140,000 will require additional information and/or a physical for approval.
401(k) Retirement Plan:
MBF offers a 401(k) retirement plan to all active/full time employees over the age of 21. Participants can start making contribution to the plan immediately. After 1 year of service, participants are eligible for company matching contribution. At this time, MBF matches dollar for dollar on the first 3% and 50 cents on the dollar on the next 2%. Thus, if participant contribute 5% or more, MBF will contribute 4%.
