MBF Inspection Services places the safety of our employees and clients as our highest importance. MBF’s safety program has been and is monitored by numerous third party organizations including National Compliance Management Services (NCMS), ISNetworld and Veriforce to insure MBF’s safety program meets or exceeds all regulatory and client requirements.
MBF has a mandatory safety program that includes initial orientation, annual refreshers and client or project specific training as requested by the client. MBF has OSHA Authorized Outreach, PEC SafeLand/SafeGulf, and H2SClear, NCCER Master Trainer and First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) /Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) instructors on staff.
MBF Safety Orientation includes: Abrasive Blasting, Back Safety, Bloodborne Pathogens, Concrete & Masonry, Confined Space Entry/LOTO, CPR & First Aid Awareness, Cranes & Derricks, Driving Knowledge, Electrical Safety/LOTO, Environmental, Excavations, Fall Protection, Fire Prevention Protection, General Health & Safety Provisions, Global Harmonization System, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Hand & Power Tools, HazCom – Occupational Health & Environmental Controls, Hearing Conservation, Introduction to OSHA, Machine Guarding, Materials Handling (Rigging & Lifting with Mobile Equipment), Personal Protection Equipment/ Respiratory Protection, Process Safety Management, Scaffolds, Signs/Motor Vehicle, & Rollover Protection, Site Safety & Security, Stairways & Ladders, Static Electricity, Stop Work Authority, Undergroudn Construction, Welding & Cutting/Hot Works/ Metals Exposure.
Additional training available upon request of the Client. Examples include: OSHA 10 and 30, First Aid/CPR/AED hands on training, SafeLand/SafeGulf, Supervisor Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Excavation-Competent Person Development and others.
Operator Qualifications:
MBF Inspection Services conducts Operator Qualifications (OQ’s) in accordance with DOT requirements and works with each client to determine specific qualification requirements for each project. MBF is able to provide training and testing for operator qualifications, at no cost to the employee, through ENEGY Worldnet (EWN), National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), Operator Qualification Solution Group (OQSG), and Veriforce as required by the client.
Drug and Alcohol Testing:
MBF Inspection Services has both a DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol programs that are conducted through the services of Pipeline Testing Consortium. The written policies are available upon request from MBF Inspection Services Inc., or from Pipeline Testing Consortium. MBF also complies with the drug and alcohol testing and procedures of DISA, ASAP and TEAM when requested by the client.
